B... Blogs & Birthdays


I am a new blogger, relatively. I blog about books, reading and my crazy life in general.

Technically, I just passed my first birthday in January...

But last year was such a mess, and my blogging so spotty, with a last-minute home purchase that became a multi-month project due to the house having tons of damage and a broken foot that resulted in tons of down time.  Though I did really well blogging January-March, I then disappeared in April and, except for a few random posts, didn't reappear until September. I felt guilty.  I didn't feel like I deserved to celebrate when my first anniversary came around, so I just ignored it.

But I have been doing really well since then, despite this year being just as busy and chaotic with a last minute wedding (apparently we do nothing in normal time here), planning a summer clambake event to celebrate, and non-stop activities with my a capella group and theater.

I feel like I have made amends somewhat...  And I have decided that blogging is really about sharing as much as you can, and I have truly done that, whether it was once a day or once a month.

So I have decided to celebrate anyway, albeit a little late!

Yeah me...(insert clapping here).
