I began 2014 reading a book about an 80's celebrity, and I get to do so again this year thanks to Helen over at My Novel Opinion! My first pick of 2015 has been sitting around for a few weeks, since I received it for the TBTB Secret Santa...and it's been burning a proverbial hole in my bookshelf. I'm been looking forward to their one since it came out!!

Looks like a good choice for your first book - even knowing his outcome. Very sad indeed.
I remember hearing about his death on the radio the morning after it happened. It's one of those moments that is really clear in my head even though I wasn't a big River Phoenix fan. I'll have to look for this one. Thanks for sharing!
